Joseph-Philippe Oorloft (1792 Brussels - 1861 ibidem) was a student of the Academie des Beaux-Arts in Brussels. He debuted at the Salon of Brussels in 1813, and participated in its exhibitions in 1839 and 1842. Oorloft painted miniatures on ivory and porcelain. Schidlof writes that, Oorloft worked in the style of Augustin. The author of the published in 1998 in Brussels book "Autissier et le portrait miniature romantique en Belgique" implies that his miniatures resemble those of Autissier.
