Henri L'Eveque (1769 Geneva - 1832 Rome) was a painter on enamel and porcelain. He opened a school for painting on enamel in Geneva with his brothers Jean-Michel and Jean-Abraham. He was also the master of Abraham Constantin. L'Eveque accompanied De Saussure to Mt. Blanc and later published engravings based on this expedition. He spent some time traveling in Spain and Portugal, where he painted various views in watercolor. From 1812 to 1823 he lived in London, where in 1815 he became a painter on enamel for Charlotte, Princess of Wales. He exhibited at the London Royal Academy from 1812 to 1819. In 1819 he was awarded a silver medal for one of his enamels from the Society of Arts. In 1823 he returned to Geneva; later on he went to Rome, where he seems to have been chiefly painting landscapes in watercolor.
