It is an extremely rare work (none other of this artist was to find - neither online, nor in reference literature) of Italian-born (due to the typical name), working probably in France (typical for French school manner) miniaturist Quaini. It is a very good quality portrait of a young hunter (aristocrat?) whose costume and hairstyle speak for ca. 1790.
